The calculator performs arithmetic on the values you enter. It does not know your address, your local market, your reviews, your competition or the season. A result such as "$1,721 per month" is what the formula produces from your assumptions. It is not a prediction of what you will earn, and real results can be higher or lower, including negative.

Whether you may rent a property short term depends on local law, zoning, licensing, building and fire requirements, homeowners association rules, lease terms and mortgage or insurance conditions. Occupancy and lodging taxes vary by place and the calculator does not include them. Confirm every requirement with the relevant authority before you list.
Platform fees, who pays them and how they are calculated change over time and differ between platforms and account types. The fee field is a placeholder you set. Check the platform's current fee page for the actual figures that apply to you.
The values already in the calculator, such as a $145 nightly rate and 65% occupancy, are only examples to show how the tool behaves. They are not averages for any market.
